Hatha Yoga classes
Yoga is an ancient knowledge about the development of human consciousness. It is a completely practical system that can be incorporated in our everyday life, to help us grow as a human being, to be more happy and satisfied. The basic level, often mentioned as Hatha Yoga, includes the practice of asana (yoga postures), shatkarma (cleansing the body) and pranayama (breathing exercises). These three practises form an initial stage that has a purpose to cleanse the body, make it stronger and healthier, and to train the mind in concentration and stability, preparing it for deeper spiritual work of meditation.
Tai Chi Chuan classes
Tai Chi, short for Tai Chi Chuan or Taijiquan, is an internal Chinese martial art practiced both as a self-defense training, and for its health benefits and meditation. The term “taiji” is a Chinese cosmological concept for the eternal flow and relationship of yin and yang, and “quan” means fist as martial art application. This exercise system is practiced by people of all ages for a wide range of reasons: it helps maintain strength, flexibility, balance and good coordination, brings relaxation and a calm, focused state of mind. It can be described as a motion meditation practice. Tai Chi Chuan is known as a powerful way to develop capacity of vital energy and normalize its flow in the body. It could be the perfect activity for the rest of your life.
Conditioning training
Body conditioning training working with a natural own body weight through the simple exercises with a minimum of equipment. Practice include aerobic, strength and stretching aspects all combined together. Usual strength training varies in ranges from 1-6 repetitions for an exercise and one builds strength by exposing body to abnormal weight loads and stress. The body is then forced to build muscle and thicken bones in order to take on that load. While the Conditioning training focuses more on the health aspects along with endurance and strength to operate with the body’s own weight in a wide range of motions for prolonged time.
Ayurvedic Massage
Ayurvedic Massage is based on ancient Indian principles of Ayurveda and the knowledge of Acupressure. The word “ayurveda” is a Sanskrit compound: ayu, meaning “life,” and veda, meaning “knowledge.” One of the basics of Ayurveda is to consider patient as a wholesome human being, taking in consideration patient’s living conditions, the way to eat and the food taken, the occupation and the life style. That helps to investigate the origin of the current situation and to find most appropriate complex treatment. Acupressure is a system of applying pressure to specific key points, or marmas to release tensions and recover circulation. Koi Massage is a complex treatment, aimed to heal the body and create a balance between mind, body, and spirit.
