Holistic approach is the base of the complex Ayurvedic Therapy treatment.
Our body and our mind, nervous system and energy are the one whole system. This understanding is the basis for Hatha-Yoga and Ayurvedic treatments. We have better, much more lasting results when we working with such holistic approach instead of focusing on just one aspect. Complex approach helps to keep us in balance and harmony.
Ayurvedic massage is based on a science of Ayurveda – ancient Indian Holistic knowledge of keeping our body and mind healthy and happy as well. It is a complex work aimed to relieve both mental and physical stress, restore and improve circulation, release captured energy, remove muscle tension. Such treatment helps the body in cleansing and detoxication, what in turn helps our mind and our energy to became more calm and clear.
During the work, energy captured in tensions and blockages is released increasing our vitality.
In the basis of our treatment lies the Ayurvedic Abhyanga Massage – long, slow and very detailed warm oil massage. Medicated oils, only of the natural herbal base.
We use Reiki for healing energy application and Hatha yoga techniques to relax the body and focus the mind to be here and now.
Acupressure and Tapping, Lymphatic drainage, Visceral massage are all take part in a complex therapy treatment.
Receiving the massage it is also a work. It is very similar to meditation, practicing NOT DOING, creating inner silence and keeping ourself here and now. Taking a massage, remaining motionless, keeping our body consciously relaxed, calming and emptying our mind from the thoughts, observing our body inwardly and literally embarking on a journey towards ourselves.
It is not just a healing treatment but a way to discover a new perspective of ourself.
So it does make sense to prepare for such a trip properly, as well properly spend time after it.
Massage takes 2 hours, or a bit longer. It is made with warm medicated oil.
How to properly prepare for a massage?
The day we work it is good to keep your body light. It means not to be hungry but still to have nearly empty stomach. On this day, very moderate light food is needed, without meat or eggs. You need to finish eating three to four hours before the massage. The last hour please don’t drink too much liquid. It is good to organise the day in such a way that it is possible not to rush, move calmly and have a margin of time.
What do we do during a session?
We work for two hours to cover the whole body, step by step going through all the muscles and joints, helping the body to align the circulation flows and restore its energy balance, creating the best conditions for detoxification, purification and renewing of the body resources. During this work we have a good opportunity for deep mental relaxation and experiencing introspective meditative state. It is a rare opportunity to practice not-doing.
It’s great if you can relax your mind and body and just be, inwardly contemplating yourself.
We begin by decompressing the joints and spine, gently stretching and opening the body for deeper work. We use acupressure to release blocks and areas important for reflexology. Gentle tapping helps to activate circulation. Various massage techniques are used to improve nutrition, lymphatic drainage and relieve tension in the tissues.
We do massage with warm oil, that is a very good treatment for the joints helping their restoration. We go from the toes and hands to the crown of the head, we pay special attention to the back, cervical region, head, face and end with a gentle massage of the abdomen.

Fascial release and osteopathic techniques
Gentle correcting extensions and pressure applied to release wrong muscle habits holding the tensions in the body.

Abdominal massage and visceral manipulation
Abdominal massage to relax organs, stimulate healthy circulation and normalise peristaltic movement.

Oil massage and acupressure
Application of pressure to certain points and areas, muscle manipulations and detailed massage with different oils , to relax muscle blockages and tensions, feed the joints and retrieve normal circulation flow in the body.
How to spend the time after the session?
After the massage, give yourself some peaceful time. At least for a few hours avoid taking shower, swimming or going in the direct sunlight.
It is good to spend this time silent, without talking or active communication or working with the mind.
Calmly observe, accept the surroundings, thereby giving the body and mind the opportunity and time to realise and digest the work done during the massage and to form its new internal state on the new basis.
Life (ayu) is the combination (samyoga) of body, senses, mind and reincarnating soul. Ayurveda is the most sacred science of life, beneficial to humans both in this world and the world beyond.
